MASS SCREENING PROGRAMME IS STILL ONGOING

The Department of Health, Bojanala District is still hard at work with Mass Screening programme within the Moses Kotane Precinct, various teams dispersed in the following villages namely Makoshong 2, Leretlweng, Moloroe, Sefikile, Letlhakane, Madikwe, Rampampa, Siga, Bojating, Mmorogong etc. Communities are still encouraged to participate in the Mass screening.


MOSES KOTANE LOCAL MUNICIPALITY INTENSIFY RENDERING WATER TO THE PEOPLE


On the 11th May 2020, Moses Kotane Local Municipality through Portfolio Head of Infrastructure & Technical Services conducted a Sod-turning of Pella Water Supply Project that will ensure that residents around Madikwe, Tlokweng, Pella receive clean water. Despite the outbreak of Covid-19, the municipality continues with rendering services to the people more especially those that have to do with water during this time. Kgosi Gasebone on behalf of the communities Bakwena Ba Morare was also present during the new Water supply Project. The municipality encouraged the contractor to ensure that all laborers scaled down should all wear masks and have good hygiene practice in place.
FUNERAL UNDERTAKERS ARE TRAINED
The Local Command Team through the Environmental Health Practitioners trained approximately 14 funeral undertakers and 86 employees on Covid-19 guidelines that they are expected to abide with. Bakgatla Gate as one of the quarantine site have been successfully inspected with regard to Environmental Health compliance prior to people being accommodated there.
