Mogwase- Friday on the 24th January 2020, it was the Grand official opening of Mankwe Engen Convenience centre.
Mr Marakalla who’s is the owner of the facility stated that, whatever is happening today it has been a dream of many years ago. He started to approach Engen 16 years ago with a proposals which were turned down many times because Engen Franchise in the National office couldn’t believe that building this facility in Mogwase will have Return on investments. However Mr David Marakalla did not give up on his dream to develop a shopping centre or a Mall which started with this Garage Facility. He emphasized the need to get various support from communities, investors, as well as Government to help his dream of Developing further Mogwase to have a beautiful reputable shopping centre said Mr David Marakalla.
Mayor Clr Ralesole Diale stated that, Let us note that the existence of this Mankwe Engen Convenience centre is very important because it have increased the employment of local communities as a result boost our economy said Mayor Diale. Therefore as Moses Kotane Local Municipality we will continue supporting those visionaries who want to develop our municipality further- concluded Mayor Diale.
