SPECIALIST: EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME (EAP) Permanent
REF. HR 01/06/2020 • Salary level 17 – 18 • Entry Salary Scale R494 464.53 pa

Duties: • To design, implement, administer and evaluate the Employee Assistance Services in the Municipality. • Develop and update the EAP Policy. Design and implement HIV/AIDS management programmes,• Implement the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) including wellness days. Manage and administer the EAP. • Provide clinical services and counselling for the employees and their immediate families. • Provide non-clinical services and preventative services. Monitor and evaluate the EAP internal and external stakeholder management and networking. • Advise management on employee wellness matters • Compile reports for management. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology/ Social Work or related qualification at NQF 7. • 3 years’ experience of knowledge as Counsellor, Valid driver’s license. Skills: • Strong people management skills. Negotiation, training and facilitation skills, short course in EAP will be an advantage, Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience and 2 years’ management experience • Registration with the relevant Professional body (HPCSA, SANC, SASOHN, EAP).
