The Integrated Development Plan (IDP) and Budget Public Participation for the 2026/2027 financial year continued at Sandfontein Community Hall, where Cluster 3, covering Wards 10, 15, 16 and 17.
Welcoming the guests Kgosana Machaka expressed appreciation for the community’s active participation in the municipality’s planning process.
MMC for Planning and Development Cllr. Dithoti Tshetlhane, who gave the meeting’s purpose, emphasized that the IDP platform is intended to allow communities to make a significant contribution
to the municipality’s planning and service delivery priorities.
From the Department of Economic Development, Environment, Conservation and Tourism (DEDECT) , Ms. Maiden Keibine outlined the role of the Consumer Protection Office. Her colleague, Ms. Malebogo Kanti, further explained the process of applying for liquor licenses.
Ms Seageng Marule from MKLM supply chain encouraged entrepreneurs to formally register their businesses with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in order to qualify to render services to the government.
In response to inquiries from the public, Cllr. Bushy Manganye emphasized that Moses Kotane local municipality do everything in its power to improve service delivery to the public
and express gratitude for community
input, which aids in effective planning.
Acting Mayor Cllr. Motsisi Mogapi expressed gratitude to all parties involved for
making sure that government strategy,
execution, and a single government goal to
support service delivery are fulfilled.
